Fly Tying I :
Basic fly tying techniques, use of tools, types of hooks, choosing materials, etc. Start by tying a Woolly Bugger and progress to nymphs and dry flies. This class will teach you the skills to tie most of the traditional fly patterns for catching trout and steelhead.

4 sessions (1 night per week) Time: 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Cost: $ 65.00 per person

Location: Two Rivers Fly Shop You provide: Fly tying vise and tools.

We provide: Hooks and materials for in-class tying and at home practice. It’s fun, it’s relaxing, and there’s nothing like catching fish on flies you tied yourself.

Private Lessons Also Available !

Fly Tying II :
Builds on the skills learned in Fly Tying I. Also a good refresher or brush-up course if you haven’t tied for a while or just want to learn some new patterns.

This class is student-guided after the first session so come with specific flies you want to learn to tie; or learn some new tricks for handling certain materials or tying techniques such as parachutes, spinning deer hair, dry fly wings, etc.

This class is a lot of fun and very relaxed!

4 sessions (1 night per week) Time: 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Cost: $50.00 per person

Location: Two Rivers Fly Shop - Bring your own tools and materials.

Minimum 4 people, Maximum 8 people per fly tying class.
